SALUDA, NC -- Myrtle Thompson Phillips, 95 of Greenville Street, Saluda, NC died Thursday, November 29, 2007 in Pardee Care Center in Flat Rock, NC.Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Mamie Davis Thompson. She was a member of Saluda First Baptist Church and was the widow of Edgar L. Phillips who died in 1999.Surviving is her sister, Louise Staton of Saluda, NC. Also surviving are 3 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2007 in Saluda City Cemetery in Saluda, NC with Rev. David Webb officiating.
