Tryon, N.C. - Myrna Lou Pringle Goode, 68 of Melrose Avenue, Tryon, NC died Thursday at her home. Born in Harrisonburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Purloss Pringle, Jr. and Helen Estelle Evans Pringle. She was the widow of William Watson Goode who died in 1994. Mrs. Goode attended Limestone College, Gaffney, SC and James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She moved to Polk Co. in 2000 coming from Reidsville, NC. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Reidsville, NC. Surviving are: a daughter, Kathryn Pringle Jolly of Salisbury, NC; two sons, Michael Randolph Jolly of Sacramento, CA and Charles Hoffman Jolly of Oak Island, NC; two sisters, Elizabeth Pringle Overby of Reidsville, NC and Anne Pringle of Beaumont, TX. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, Sarah Kathryn O'Steen and Michael Russell O'Steen both of Tryon, NC and Henry Edwin Jolly & Charles Murphy Jolly both of Sacramento, CA. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
