Sunny View, NC—Mollie Ruff Dalton, 67, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at home surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Eugene Ruff and Faye Ruff. Mollie married the love of her life and her partner in crime, Gary Dalton. Together they shared 49 years of marriage. She adored her grandkids and her daughter, Keila. Mollie's favorite thing was to go to all her grandkid's ball games, she lived for her babies. She also enjoyed cutting her grass while listening to Conway Twitty.
In addition to her parents, Mollie was preceded in death by her sister, Connie Wilson.
Surviving is her husband of 49 years, Gary Dalton; her daughter, Keila Dalton; her granddaughter, Avery Smith (Ray) and their children, Carter, Jace and Noa Smith; her grandsons, Tye Mintz (Jensen) and their child, Riley and Cade Mintz (Naomi Smith); her brother, George Ruff (Francis) and her sister, Joyce Laughter. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Per Mollie's wishes, no services will be held.
