Tryon, NC—Mildred Hunnicutt Trippe, 92 passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at White Oak of Tryon.Mildred was the daughter of the late Willie and Minnie Hunnicutt.  She was a member of Columbus Baptist Church in Columbus, NC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, two sisters, and a daughter-in-law.Surviving is her daughter, Bobbie Wilson (Bruce); a son, Michael Ward; three grandchildren and several great grandchildren.The family wishes to thank the staff of White Oak of Tryon and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for the compassion and care they provided.Memorials may be made to White Oak of Tryon, Attention: Marcie: 70 Oak Street, Tryon, NC 28782.The family will hold a private service.
