Michael L. WolfeColumbus, NC -- Michael L. Wolfe, 56, of Smith Waldrop Rd., Columbus, NC, died Thursday, June 15, 2006 at his home. Born in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Walter Wolfe and the late Ruth Foster Day. He was a brick mason and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are: 2 sons; Terry Wolfe (Kim) of Tryon, NC and Todd Wolfe of Columbus, NC; a daughter, Tammy Fishtorn of Columbus, NC; a sister; Gail Mills (Jesse) of Columbus, NC and 2 brothers, Ricky Day (Ann) of Tryon, NC and Danny Day (Melinda) of Columbus, NC. Also surviving are a stepfather Ansel Day of Tryon, NC and 7 grandchildren. Mr. Wolfe was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Day Arledge who died in 1998. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday June 19, 2006 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. Charles McClure officiating.
