Michael Brandon Baisden, 43, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away, Thursday morning, October 18, 2018 at his home. Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Fred and Terry Stubbs Baisden of Saluda, NC. Growing up in the Boy Scouts, he attained Eagle Scout and later entered the hospitality industry. Prior to moving to Mt. Pleasant 12 years ago, he lived and worked in Memphis, TN. He was a graduate of Wofford College and a Sigma Nu member.Surviving in addition to his parents is one brother, Derrick Baisden (Kristine) of Greenville, SC; two nieces, Amelia Rose Bayne and Elliott Grace Baisden.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2018 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Lori Knoespel, Rev. Rob Parsons and Rev. David Williamson officiating.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral chapel.Memorials may be made to Boy Scout Troop #159, Simpsonville United Methodist Church, 215 SE Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681.At other times, the family will be at the home of the mother and father.
