MILL SPRING, NC - Maude McGuinn Davis, 96, of Mill Spring, NC passed away Saturday morning, September 8, 2012 in the Hospice House of Forest City, NC.Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Mack and Bonnettia Odel McGuinn and widow of Robert C. Davis who died in 1994. Mrs. Davis retired from NCR in Columbia, SC in 1982. She was a member of Coopers Gap Baptist Church.Surviving are one sister, Mollie Jo Robertson (Joe) of Bostic, NC and one brother, J.D. McGuinn (Winnie) of High Point, NC. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 in the Coopers Gap Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC with Rev. Don Hollifield and Rev. Bob Philbeck officiating.Burial will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive friends prior to the service Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. in the Coopers Gap Baptist Church.Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O.
