Columbus, NC - Marye Elizabeth Rogers Priddy, 98, of 619 Laurel Lake Drive, Columbus, NC died Monday, September 24, 2012 in Tryon Estates, Columbus, NC.Born in Pope County, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Edward Brown and Sara Neal Rogers. She was the widow of Arthur Paul Priddy who died in 2004. Marye moved to Polk County in l983 coming from Dover, Mass. She was a volunteer for several years at the Peppermint Shoppe in Tryon. She was a member of the Tryon Presbyterian Church, Tryon, NC where she was an active member of the PYP's.Surviving are: a son, Tom Priddy (Dotti) of Greer, SC; two daughters, Anne Olsen of Charleston, SC and Marye Jane Priddy of Columbus, NC; 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey Olsen, Christopher Olsen, Katherine Olsen, Maggie Ivey and Carrie Priddy. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren.Private family services will be held at a later date.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
