COLUMBUS, NC -- Elizabeth "Lib" Sterling was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 27, 1916 and passed away on April 15, 2013. Mrs. Sterling graduated from North Fulton High School and Georgia State University. She was a retired partner in the CPA firm of Sterling and Sterling CPA's. Mrs. Sterling was President of the Women's Society of CPA's. She was the first woman to serve on the Ga State Board of Accountancy. She was married to Martin Sterling. She is survived by nephew James Adams of Gainesville, GA and nieces Pam Kelly of Charlotte, NC and Sterling Hannah of Columbia, SC. There will be a graveside service on Thursday April 18th at 2 PM at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA
