Mary Ellen Phillips, 76, of Landrum, SC passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.Mary was the daughter of the late Ulus Turner and Mary Edith Swaney Turner.  She worked as a spinner and retired from Stonecutter Textiles.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.Mary was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Phillips.Surviving are five children, Jerry Phillips, Jewell Phillips, Crystal Phillips, Brian Phillip and Danielle Phillips; one brother, Doug Turner and two sisters, Gail Pritchard and Kay McSwain.  Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.Per her request, no services will be held.
