--Mrs. Mary Ann Jones, age 85, departed this earth for her heavenly home on the morning of November 12, 2018.She was born into a loving Christian family in the spring of 1933 as Mary Ann Bolton. Raised in the center of downtown Atlanta, Mrs. Jones was a wonderful example of a young southern lady in every way. Her relationship with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ started early in her years. Throughout a truly wonderful life Mrs. Jones strived to provide everyone around her with a living example of Christ's love. Mary Ann delighted in her family and filled holidays and gatherings with contagious joy like only she could. Her smile and laughter will be remembered warmly by all who were fortunate enough to experience Mrs. Jones' love. She was an honored wife, compassionate mother, beloved grandmother, adored great grandmother, cherished aunt and priceless friend to many. Though Mrs. Jones will be greatly missed by everyone that knew this incredible woman, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now in paradise with the two greatest loves of her life, Jesus Christ and her departed husband Mr. Robert C. Jones Sr.Mrs. Jones is survived by her four children; Robert C. Jones Jr., Patricia A. Parrish, Todd M. Jones, and Brenda J. Ross and their spouses, her brother and sister-in-law's Mr. and Mrs. Teat Crusselle, Mrs. Ernest Bolton, and Mrs. Wayne Bolton, 12 Grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends for a viewing on the evening of Friday, November16th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 p.m. at to be held at Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson, GA.All who were touched by Mrs. Jones are invited to a funeral service on Saturday November 17th at 11:00 a.m. held at Macedonia Baptist Church in Jackson, GA with a graveside service to follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA.In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Women's Mission Union (WMU) at www.wmufoundation.com in Mary Ann Jones' memory.
