Tryon, NC- Martha Curtis Hudgins, 67, of Oak Street, Tryon, died May 27, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Burlington, NC she was the daughter of George David and Mable Loy Curtis. She was the wife of Ed Hudgins of the home. Surviving in addition to her husband are; one son, Rex Hunter of Charlotte, NC; one daughter, Mary Carter Smith of Arlington, VA; two step-daughters, Sally McKoin of Greensboro, NC and Polly Sare of Grand Rapids, MI; one step-son, Edward Hudgins of Chapel Hill, NC. Also surviving are six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Greensboro, NC. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Steps to Hope, P.O.
