Margaret McCarley Wagner of Spartanburg, SC, died Monday, March 7, 2017 in Presbyterian Home in Clinton, SC.She was the daughter of the late John and Frances McAbee McCarley. She was the widow of the Rev. Joseph C. Wagner who died in 2008. Margaret was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg. Margaret was an avid reader and loved music. She was loved by her family and church. She will be missed by all who knew her.Survivng are a daughter, Julia Wagner Wicker (Randy) of Spartanburg, SC; three grandchildren, Benjamin Kittrell, Pierce Wicker, and Alexandra Wicker; a beloved sister in law, Louise Holt McCarley. Also surviving are two nieces and a nephew. Margaret was predeceased by a brother, James Robert McCarley.The J.F. Floyd Mortuary will be in charge of the arrangements for a memorial service to be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 in First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The Purnell Fund of First Presbyterian Church, Spartanburg, SC.
