TRYON, NC - Margaret Della Hayes, 78, of Tryon, NC went to be with the Lord Friday, January 2, 2009 in Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, SC. Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Grayson A. and Minnie Williams Turner. Mrs. Hayes was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Elliott Cash; five brothers, Albert, Carl, James, Terrell and Larry Turner and two sisters, Juanita Lake and Eunice Seay. Surviving is her husband, Cecil Hayes of the home; three sons, Charles Cash (Tammy) of Green Creek, NC, Terry Cash (Patsy) of Clemson, SC and Darrell Cash (Karen) of Sunny View, NC; one daughter, Beverly Arledge (Bobby) of Green Creek, NC; two step-daughters, Teresa West (Steve) of Columbus, NC and Rhona Wingo of Duncan, SC; one brother, Clyde Turner; four sisters, Ruth Greenway, Barbara Davidson, Shirley Stephens and Peggy Williams. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, January 7, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with a brief service to follow.
