TRYON, NC - Louvina Green Waters, 86, of 59 Beaver St., Tryon, NC died Friday, February 16, 2007 in Autumn Care Cursing Center, Saluda, NC. Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Richard Pearson and Minnie Bridgeman Green and widow of Raymond Waters who died in 1999. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Campobello, SC. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Jean Davis and her husband Toy of Woodruff, SC and Shirley McDowell of Landrum, SC; One son, Bobby Raymond Waters of Landrum, SC; one brother Van Green and his wife Catherine of Landrum, SC. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2007 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC with Rev. Dean Elliott and Rev. Fred Siegfried officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the funeral service in the McFarland Funeral Chapel. The family will be at the home, 59 Beaver Street, Tryon, NC.
