SALUDA, NC - Lori Leigh Steiner, 46, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2007 at her home in Saluda, NC. She had been in poor health for years. Born in Toledo, OH, she was predeceased by her father, Melvin E. Steiner. She will be sadly missed by her mother, Patricia Recker and step-father, Terry. She was a loving mother to her beloved children, Brandi Ford, Sharon (Rhodes) Beddingfield and Richard M. Rhodes. Two brothers, Daniel (Joanie) and Charles Steiner, a sister, Shari Steiner and two step-brothers, Vance and Quinn Recker, one niece and five nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. Tony Sayer officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday evening in the McFarland Funeral Chapel.
