Lisa Cyr's Obituary
Lisa Scruggs Cyr, 61, of Green Creek, NC passed away unexpectedly from complications following a fall.
Lisa was the daughter of the late Mac and Brenda Scruggs. She was a graduate of Polk Central High School and later graduated Isothermal Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In her nursing career, Lisa specialized in pediatric home care. Lisa was currently completing her bachelor's degree in holistic nutrition. She was a member at West Point Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, NC.
Surviving is her husband of 31 years, Frank Cyr; two daughters, Katrina Cyr Bailey (Seth), Sarah Shytle Brady, one son, Brandon Edward Cyr; three grandchildren, Cadence Bailey, Preston Bailey and Wyatt Brady; sister, Rhonda Scruggs Hill, parents-in-law, Frank Cyr Sr. and Peggy Cyr, and sister-in-law; Tina Cyr (Heather). Also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and one great nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at West Point Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, NC officiated by Pastor Lance Scarlett.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 3:30 pm to 5:00 p.m.
The family will be at the home of David and Linda Cantrell, 189 Webber Lane, Columbus, NC 28722.
