Tryon, NC – Linda Farleigh, 75, of Tryon, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 10, 2021 surrounded by her family.She was born January 1, 1946 in Brunswick, GA, the daughter of the late Dewey Reed Miller and Robbie Jo McKinney.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Farleigh. She is survived by three sons, Bill Hogan (Mary Brooks) Hartwell, GA; Sean Hogan (Susannah) Tryon, NC; Patrick Hogan (Ellen) Simpsonville, SC; One brother, Dr. Dewey Reed Miller, Chesterfield, NH; One sister, Judy McManus, Bentonville, AR; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Early on she was a homemaker and loving mother to three sons. The consummate den-mother and chauffeur ready and willing to volunteer whenever the need arose. Eventually finding employment with Dunlop Corporation serving as a credit manager in its Corporate Office in Greenville, SC, from where she retired. Linda enjoyed an active life, she was a loyal friend, caring mother, avid golfer, who enjoyed traveling, painting and a perpetual learner.A private memorial service will be held at a future date in Hilton Head, SC.
