SALUDA, NC - Levi Armond Randall, 81, of Saluda, NC passed Wednesday morning, March 18, 2015 at the Elizabeth House, Flat Rock, NC.He was a native of and born in Moss Point, MS, following four generations of family. He was raised on the water and hence loved to fish and garden. He brought those passions to Saluda when he moved here in 1985. He loved Saluda, continued to fish and garden and enjoyed his long-standing friendships made through the Men's Club. He was the son of the late Eugene Nathaniel and Margaret Britt Randall. Mr. Randall was a veteran of the Korean War having served as a Sargeant in the U.S. Marine Corp.Surviving is his wife of fifty-eight years, Laura V. Randall; one son, Levi Randall, Jr. (Karen) of E. Hartland, CT and three grandsons, Levi, III, Jesse and Jarod; one daughter, Laura Fields (Nate) of Saluda, NC and two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Zachary (Kendall). Also surviving are two sisters. In special memory, he was preceded in death by a very special sister, Sybil E. Smith who has a surviving daughter, Sharon S. Baker (Jay) and their daughter, Katie.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015 in the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, Saluda, NC with Rev. Augusta A.
