Sunny View, NC- Learleen McGuinn, 86, of Sunny View, NC, wife of Charles McGuinn, died Monday, April 14, 2008 in The Elizabeth House, Hendersonville, NC.Born in Polk County, NC, she was the daughter of the late William Millsand Mattie Mae Williams Whiteside. Mrs. McGuinn retired from St. Luke's Hospital and was owner and operator of McGuinn's Store and Sunny Mountain Restaurant for 56 years. She was a member of Victory in Jesus Baptist Church in Sunny View, NC.Surviving in addition to her husband is one son, Mike McGuinn of Sunny View, NC. One daughter, Barbara Gilbert of Sunny View, NC. Grandchildren, Crystal Pierce and Nancy Bradley both of Sunny View, NC, Michael McGuinn of Landrum, SC, Jason Peace and Terah Turner both of Hendersonville, NC.Funeral services will be Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Victory in Jesus Baptist Church in Sunny View, NC with the Dr. Everett Wallace, Jr, Rev. Timothy Norman and Rev. Jerry Jackson officiating.Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC.The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2008 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC.Mrs. McGuinn will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.The family will be at the home of her son, Mike McGuinn, 114 E.
