- Larry "Joe" Crawford Ross, 69, of Hendersonville passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his home.Born in Polk County, NC, he was the son of the late Crawford and Dorothy Davis Ross. Joe worked at Hampton Inn in Hendersonville, NC. He was a member of 2001 Baptist Church in Dana, NC.Surviving is his wife of 21 years, Sonona Parker Ross; four step sons, Norman Bell (Tara) of East Flat Rock, NC, Stephen Bell (Jamie) of Edneyville, NC, David Bell of East Flat Rock, NC and Matthew Bell of Saluda, NC; tow step daughters, Lorraine Metcalf of Edneyville, NC and Carol Burrell (Johnny) of Columbus, NC; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are four sisters, Hazel, Sadie, Marie and Diane.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Mountain Page Baptist Church Cemetery in Saluda, NC with Reverend Bill Brackett officiating.
