Mill Spring, NC- Kent Morgan Shehan, 62, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Advent Polk in Columbus, NC.

Born and raised in Polk County, NC he was the son of the late Buddy Shehan and Peggy Moran. Kent loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. His greatest joy in life was being a father and grandfather.

Surviving is his daughter Dana Nicole Shehan; two grandchildren, Braelin Kole and Arielle Breeze; a stepdaughter, Tasha Jean Epps; his girlfriend, Lisa Baynard and a sister, Kim Ravan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m at Rock Springs Baptist Church, 111 Polk County Line Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139 officiated by Pastor Issac Arledge.
