Saluda, NC - Kaye Laughter Diaz, 69, of Early Road, Saluda, NC died Sunday, May 11, 2014 at her home.Born in Duncan, SC, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn Laughter and was the widow of Roy Diaz who died in 2011. Kaye was raised in Saluda, moved to Miami, FL and returned to Saluda in l993. She had been employed by Autumn Care Nursing Center, Saluda, NC for the past 20 years.Surviving are: Three sons, Randall Diaz of Hollywood, FL, Roger Diaz (Dreya) of Saluda, NC and Ron Diaz (Leisha) of Saluda, NC. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren.Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
