Columbus, NC- Kathy Dixon Joslin, 47, of Landrum Road, Columbus, NC, died February 27, 2009 in her residence. Born in Waycross, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jasper B. Dixon and widow to John Jerald Joslin who died in 1999. Mrs. Joslin had worked as a nurse. She is survived by, her mother, Elfreda Chancey Dixon of Tifton, GA; two daughters, Jeralyn Joslin of Columbus, NC and Jenna Joslin of Tryon, NC; dear friend, Ronnie Smith of Columbus, NC; one brother, Tony Dixon and wife, Frances of Abbeyville, GA; two sisters, Marie Tidwell and husband, Larry of Tifton, GA and Jeanette Haynes and husband, Warren of Waycross, GA. Mrs. Joslin was preceded in death by a sister, Avie Cothern and a brother, Jasper E. Dixon. No local services are planned.
