Columbus, NC - Kathleen Armintha Jane (Jackson) (Levi) Maney, age 88, of Columbus, NC, passed away October 9, 2015 at Oakland Living Center in Forest City, NC.Kathleen was the daughter of the late Bill and Annie Jackson. She is survived by one daughter, Kay (Levi) Morgan and her husband, Ray, of Simi Valley, CA. Also surviving are two brothers, Bill Jackson, of Marion, NC, and Waldon Jackson of Sierra Vista, AZ, two granddaughters, Cheryl Temple and her husband, Tom, of Ventura, CA, and Wendy Hunter and her husband, Jeff, of Westport, CT, and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, at 2:00 pm at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, NC.The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm prior to the service.Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens following the service.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive,Columbus, NC 28722, or Hospice of Rutherford County, P.O.
