– Kathe Jo Thompson, 65, of Tryon passed away, February 5, 2020 at Spartanburg Medical Center.Born in San Pedro, CA, she was the daughter of the late Joe Cudd and Ruby Giff Cudd. Kathe and her husband moved to Tryon in 2002 coming from Redondo Beach, CA. She was an avid dog lover.Surviving is her husband of 30 years, Rodney Thompson; one son, Dylan Thompson of Tryon; one sister, Debbie Devere of Green Creek; one stepbrother, Steve Bullas; step-mother, Lillie Brown of Green Creek; her second son, Michael Novell (Maddie).Private services will be held.
