Mill Spring, NC - June Marie Smith, 84, of Silver Creek Road died Friday, December 18, 2009 at her home. Born in Malvern, OH, she was the daughter of the late James and Ada Fern Johnson Dale. She was the widow of Robert P. Smith who died in 2008. Mrs. Smith was a Jewelry Designer and an Artist. She attended Silver Creek Baptist Church in Mill Spring, NC. Surviving are one daughter, Judy Reddix (William) of Mill Spring, NC. Also four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by a son, John Pinkerman. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in the Silver Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Osborn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday just prior to the service in Silver Creek Baptist Church.
