TRYON, NC - Julia "Jay" Zulick Novosedlik, 95, of Tryon, NC passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in White Oak Manor Nursing Center, Tryon, NC. Born in Elk Horn, WV, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Semanchik Zulick. She was the widow of Michael Novosedlik. Mrs. Novosedlik worked in the garment industry in New York. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Peter, Steven, Nick, Michael, Andrew, Crystal, Mary, Helen, Anna, Emma and Sophie; a son, Joseph Biscoe who died November 25, 2009. Surviving are one granddaughter, Diane Snow of Saugerties, NY; one grandson, Ronald Biscoe of Saugerties, NY; two great grandchildren, Michael and Elizabeth Biscoe of Saugerties, NY. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews of Pennsylvania including Ann Miller and God son, Kenneth Lewchick. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Don Silsbee officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC.
