SALUDA –
Judy Mae Anderson Morgan, 76, of Saluda, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday morning, December 1, 2024, at Advent Health Polk in Columbus.
Born in Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Anderson and Pauline Wilma Duncan Anderson and wife of 59 years to the late Richard Leon Morgan who passed away in 2022. Judy was all about her family. She spent her life helping her husband, whether it was cabinet making, restoring antiques or at M.A. Pace Store in Saluda. She also was a talented seamstress. Judy raised three daughters along with her husband. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. But most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Anderson and a sister, Shirley Summey.
Surviving are three daughters, Tammy Page (Michael), Tangie Morgan (Chris Buchanan) and Tonya Pace (Wally); four grandchildren, Scarlett Price (Tyler), Cynthia Pace, Lathan Pace and Cheyenne Buchanan; one great-granddaughter, Iverlyn Shehan; one sister, Emily Dotson.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Mountain Page Baptist Church in Saluda.
A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the church with Reverend Danny Stepp officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
