Obituary
On November 21, 2023 Judy Autheriene Luckadoo passed away peacefully at the age of 77 years young after battling cancer. A lifelong NC native, Judy always showed love and kindness to everyone she came across. She cared deeply for her family and neighbors. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was.
Anyone that knew Mrs. Luckadoo, knew she could brighten their day with her smile, kindness and those huge blue eyes. She always wanted to treat those around her as family and put their needs above her own.
Mrs. Luckadoo was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ocie Hannon; her loving husband of 55 years, Wayne Luckadoo; three brothers, Kenneth, Charles and Carroll Hannon; and one sister and best friend, Audrey Silver.
Surviving are two daughters, Andrea Wilson (Jeremy) of Forest City, NC and Leslie McDowell (Jeff) of Green Creek, NC and one son, Brooks Luckadoo (Ashley) of Dallas, NC. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Cassidy, Megan, MaKayla, Alyesha, Emmie, Jaren, Reagan, and Colton; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Luckadoo wanted a private service with immediate family only.
The family will be available at the residence and by phone.
