Green Creek, N.C. - Judy Whiteside Gosnell, 55, of John Watson Rd., Rutherfordton, NC died Sunday, September 14, 2008. Born in Spartanburg Co., SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Julia Gosnell Whiteside. Surviving are: a daughter, Rhonda Sylvester of Landrum, SC; two sons, Larry Shipley of Polk Co., NC and Ronnie Gosnell of Boiling Springs, SC; two brothers, J. R. Whiteside of Bethesda, MD and Mike Whiteside of Green Creek, NC; three sisters, Joyce Prunty of Marietta, OH; Juanita Nowlin of Spartanburg, SC and Elizabeth Watkins of Rutherfordton, NC. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren. Family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the home, 3651 John Watson Road, Rutherfordton, NC.
