Columbus, N.C. - Joyce Fellows Earley, 78, of D-1 Highwood Apartments, Columbus, NC died Tuesday, April 07, 2009 at her home. Born in Ingham County, MI, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Lulu Bell Montrose Fellows. Mrs. Earley was a member of Tryon Second Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She was the widow of Charles H. Earley who died in 1996. Surviving are: four daughters, Cathy Burns (Stan) of Landrum, SC; Manda Jackson (Donald) of Green Creek, NC; Debbie Gibbs (John) of Tryon, NC and Lori Hyder (Justin) of Landrum, SC. One brother, Leon Fellows (Gerry) of Lansing, MI. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC with Rev. Albert Teague and Rev. Dennis Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at her home, D-1 Highwood Apartments, Columbus, NC.
