SUNNY VIEW, NC - Johnny Ray Ruff, 45, of Owl Hollow Rd., Sunny View, NC died Sunday, September 2, 2007 at his home. Born in Bessimer, AL, he was the son of the late Raymond D. and Betty Martin Ruff. He was a loving husband, father and friend to many. Johnny was a heavy machine operator. Surviving are: his wife, Paulette Sparks Ruff; two sons, Jason Michael Ruff and Pvt. Joshua Terrence Ruff both of Sunny View, NC; one brother, Donny Tray Ruff of Sunny View, NC. Memorial services will be held at 6:00pm Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Grassy Knob Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Jackson officiating. The family would like to thank the volunteers from Hospice of the Carolina Foothills who were a blessing and a Godsend.
