It is with a sad heart that the parents of John B. Richardson, III share the news of his death after a long battle with cancer. He passed into God's hands at home surrounded by his family.John was born in Augusta, Ga and was the oldest son of Lisa Lindsay Johnson and James William Johnson. He loved the outdoors and was most happy fishing or being on the beach despite having been bit by a shark once. John wore that scar proudly!John was a chef by trade and spent many hours preparing meals for friends and family. He was well-known for his sardonic sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Heidemarie T. Snyder and Robert V. Snyder (Omi and Opi Bob). He is survived by his parents, his younger brother Taylor Johnson, two children, Harleigh Aiyana Richardson and  Ayden Lindsay Richardson, his partner Michele Moore, and his sweet dog, Eva.Memorials in John's name can be made to Foothills Humane Society located at 989 Little Mountain Road, Columbus, NC 28722.
