Obituary
Columbus, NC-- John Aloysius Patterson, born December 5, 1944, died at home Friday August 19, 2022 from cancer.
He was born in Hazleton, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Helen A. Evancho and John H. Patterson. Surviving is his loving wife Nancy of the home.
John served four years in the United States Air Force and was an aircraft navigation aid/radar technician. He attended Pennsylvania State University.
John's career included photography, sales, marketing, advertising and management. He was the owner of Western Carolina Productions, Inc. producing trade shows and entertainment events in and around Asheville for many years.He enjoyed sculpting and fishing during his retirement.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Burial was held in Riverside Cemetery in Asheville, North Carolina.
