Joelle Jackie L. van den Berg, of Mill Spring, NC passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024.
Joelle was born in Paris, France. At the age of eighteen, she backed packed her way through Europe because she had a passion for discovering new places. Joelle attended college in the United States. She was a Cum Laude graduate of USC School of Business, majoring in statistics and marketing. She was a member of Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and was named to Who's Who in universities. Her love for discovering new places brought her and her husband Rolf, to the Lake Lure/Mill Spring area in 2004. Joelle worked as a real estate agent in the Lake Lure area.
The family will hold a time of visiting with friends on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at McFarland Funeral Chapel in Tryon, North Carolina.
