—Joan Waldrop Landwehr, 86, of Hendersonville, NC passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Elizabeth House in Hendersonville, NC.Born in Attalla, Alabama, Joan was the daughter of the late Major Wilfred E. Waldrop and Mary Eryn Clayton Waldrop. She was a graduate of Montevallo College. Joan was a master weaver and a pianist.In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years John G. Landwehr.Surviving are a son, Greg Landwehr of Saluda, NC; a daughter, Hilary Landwehr of Ft. Thomas, KY and three sisters, Nancy Krewson of Charlotte, NC, Billie Kay Korstad of Austin, TX and Mairyln Davis of Buda, TX.No services are planned at this time.
