Columbus, NC -- Mary Jane "Jo" Christopher of Simms St., Columbus, NC died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at her home.Born in Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Perry Earl and Emmie Jane Farrow Owens. Jo was a member of Columbus Baptist Church. She was the wife of James E. Christopher who died in 2004. Surviving is one son, Steve Christopher of Columbus, NC; one sister, Lois Springfield of Greer, SC. Also surviving is one granddaughter, Kia Christopher. She was preceded in death by a son Capt. James Keith Christopher.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2011 in Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbus, NC with Rev.
