Tryon, N.C. - Jeanne Adell Hoffman, 94, of Vineyard Lane, Tryon, NC died Monday, April 2, 2007 at her home. Born in Pontiac, MI, she was the daughter of the late Frank Lee and Sarah Adell Monroe Willits. Mrs. Hoffman graudated from Pontiac High School, class of l930 and attended Cransbook Academy of Arts, Birmingham, MI. In Tryon she was a member of the Tryon Little Theatre, Tryon Painters and Sculptors, the Fine Arts Center and was inducted into the Second Wind Hall of Fame in 1982. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, Tryon, NC. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Gustav A. Hoffman and a son, Frederick G. Hoffman of Newton, MA. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007 in the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, Tryon, NC with the Rev. Dr. Michael Doty officiating. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
