TRYON, NC - Jane Frances Brush, 78, of 220 Melrose Court, Tryon, NC died Tuesday, August 15, 2006 from complications of emphysema. She was born in Honolulu, HI, the daughter of the late Major General Frank McAdams Albrecht and Page Williams Albrecht. She lived in Tryon as a teenager, staying with her grandmother, Frances Nevins Williams at Mill Farm. Some years ago she and her husband retired to Tryon, where she has been very active with the Tryon Little Theater. Surviving include her husband, Malcolm Brush, her brother, Frank McAdams Albrecht, Jr., four nieces and five great nieces. Her remains will be cremated and her ashes used, as she desired. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Tryon Little Theater, 208 Melrose Ave., Tryon, NC 28782.
