Saluda, NC - James Pelzy Laughter, 60, of 8985 Holbert Cove Rd. Saluda, NC died Saturday, January 8, 2011 in the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum, SC.Son of the late Henry and Mary Sain Laughter he was of the Baptist faith and was a Mason as well as a Shriner. Surviving is his wife Margaret Bishop Laughter; one son, Christopher Laughter of the home; two daughters, Angela Burrel of Green Creek and Pamela Laughter of Sunny View, NC; and one step-son, Jeff Ramsey of Saluda, NC. Also surviving are four brothers: Lonso Laughter of Mill Spring, NC, Oscar Laughter of Alberdeen, NC, Homer Laughter of Green Creek, NC, and Johnny Laughter of Mill Spring, NC; as well as two sisters, Goldie Sezier of Mill Spring, NC, and Linda Tucker of Green Creek, NC along with 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Gethsemane Baptist Church,1315 Old Spartanburg Hwy., Hendersonville, NC 28792 with Rev.
