Hunt Hardin, 76, of Tryon, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and those who loved him, Friday afternoon, November 28, 2025.
Hunt was born August 29, 1949, in Spindale, North Carolina to the late Ray Hardin and Enola Ormand Hardin. Hunt was a 1967 graduate of Polk Central High School and went on to serve in the United States Army during Vietnam.
In addition to his parents, Hunt is preceded in death by his wife and high school sweetheart, Janice Edwards Hardin who passed away during the COVID pandemic.
Surviving is one son, Josh Hardin; one brother, Donald Ray Hardin; two sisters, Yvonne (Vonnie) and Delphine.
Hunt practiced being a Good Samaritan and will be missed by many.
No services are planned.
