Howard Michael "Mike" Sharp, 59, of Arden, entered Eternal life Saturday morning, October 31, 2020 at his home.Mike was born on February 4, 1961 in Hooper's Creek (Fletcher) to Howard and Mary Kathleen Crissone Sharp. He was employed by Coca-Cola and Red Classic Transit, loved by many co-workers, for nearly 40 years. From a young boy watching his father work on cars, Mike had a gift for vehicle maintenance and restoration. He once restored a '57 Chevy Bel-Air and a Model A Ford, which he later sold to buy a wedding ring.On April 11, 1986, he married Susan Ellen Welch. They have two daughters, Katherine Suzanne and Elizabeth Michelle. Mike had a passion for fishing, freshwater and salt water, whenever he could go. He would spend all day on the lake, whether he caught anything or not. He also loved watching NASCAR races.Mike was preceded in death by his father, Howard, his mother, Kathleen and his brother, Bradley.He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan; two daughters, Katie and Michelle; one sister, Lisa Sharp; sister-in-law, Doris Welch; brother-in-law, Sam Welch.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.  The family will receive friends Friday evening, November 6, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm at Blue Ridge Christian Church in Mills River.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus with Reverend John Mason officiating.Memorials may be made to Four Season Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, North Carolina 28731.
