Pocomoke City, MD- Homer lee, 85, of Pocomoke City, MD, passed away on January 8, 2016 in Baltimore City, MD.Born July 17, 1930 in Banner Elk, NC, he was the son of the late James Lee and Nora Belle Trivette-Lee. He is survived by two sons, Richard Lee of Felton, PA; Randall Lee of Mill Spring, NC; two sisters, Lillie Lee-Parlier of Lenoir, NC; Cora Belle Lee-Holden of Lenoir, NC.Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Blanton-Lee, eldest son, James Homer Lee, and daughter, Shirley Ann Lee.He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Vickie Lee, and Monnie Lee-McGuire; seven brothers, Virgil Lee, Coy Lee, Webb Lee, Ira Lee, Coolidge Lee, Paris Lee, and Robert Lee.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday January 17, 2016 in McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, NC with Rev. Warren Elliott officiating.The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to 1:45 prior to the service at the funeral chapel.Burial will be in Coopers Gap Baptist Church Cemetery, Mill Spring, NC.
