Boiling Springs, SC -- Homer L. Brock, 76, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Sunday, November 12, 2006 at his home. Born in Spartanburg County, SC, he was the son of the late Homer J. and Annie Arledge Brock. He was a retired veteran of the US Navy having served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. Mr. Brock also retired from Siemens in Roebuck as a welder. Surviving is his wife, Edith S. Brock of the home. One son David Brock. One step-son Timothy Shell and his wife Veverly of Boiling Springs. One sister, Barbara DuBose of Moore, SC. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg, SC with Rev. Charles Hall officiating. Military Rites will be given by the South Carolina State Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive., Columbus, NC 28722
