Mill Spring, NC - Hilda Lee Arrowood, 91, died Monday, September 30, 2013 in Memorial Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC. Born in Polk Co. she was the daughter of the late Joe and Nora Splawn Walker. She was the widow of Wyatt B. Arrowood who died in 1978. A longtime member of Faith Baptist Church, she worked in the textile industry for many years. She is gone to be with Jesus and Wyatt. Survivors include two sisters, Dorothy Jane McGuinn of Hendersonville, NC and Eva Mae Moss of Mill Spring, NC. Also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Shehan and Gilreath Hodges and two brothers, Ed Walker and Bill Walker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2013 in Faith Baptist Church, Mill Spring, NC with Rev. Tim Gouge and Rev. William Kanupp officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
