Hershell Grayson Corn, 76, of Sunny View passed away, Tuesday afternoon, May 7, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital following a sudden illness.A native of Polk County, he was the son of the late Andy and Ethel Bradley Corn. Mr. Corn worked many years in the logging industry and retired from Brian Wilson Logging. He enjoyed working in his yard and gardening. Mr. Corn was a member of Coopers Gap Baptist Church.Surviving is his wife of 33 years, Joan Cantrell Corn; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Shirley and Tim Waldrop of Chesnee, Carolyn Wood of Concord, Diane Owen of Brevard and Eddie Cantrell of Sunny View. Also surviving are 8 nieces and nephews and 9 great-nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Friday morning, May 10, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Coopers Gap Baptist Church.A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in Coopers Gap Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Don Hollifield and Rev. Brian Wilson officiating.
