Helen Catherine Cofer died at her home in Tryon Estates, Columbus NC Saturday, July 27, 2019.Helen was born May 7, 1933 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to the late Theodore M Oberholz and Margaret Jean Hickok Oberholz. Helen was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and spent her career as an elementary school teacher in Florida. Dick and she moved to Tryon Estates in 2007 and spent the past years travelling across the world together.She is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" M Cofer.No services are planned at her request.She will be interred at the Tryon Estate Columbarium.
