Tryon, NC - Alice Emery Levi, 85, of Columbus, NC passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at White Oak Manor, Tryon, NC.Born in Polk Co. she was the daughter of the late Jule and Lura Pace Emery. A member of Lynn First Baptist Church, she retired from the textile industry in 1982. She loved knitting and was an avid reader.Survivors include two sons, Kenneth William Levi (Letitia) of Orlando, FL and Scottie Levi of Belmont, NC; two daughters, Linda Levi Condrey of Gastonia, NC and Norma Levi Hunt of Columbus, NC; as well as a brother, Johnny Emery of Raleigh, NC; and five grandchildren: Sam, Adam, and Jaclyn Levi and Brackett and Brandi Hunt. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Monday, October 20, 2014 at Lynn First Baptist Church, Lynn, NC with Rev. Jesse Yarbrough and Rev. Jimmy Owens officiating.Burial will follow the service in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC.The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 Monday, October 20, 2014 just prior to the service at Lynn First Baptist Church.Memorials may be made to Lynn First Baptist Church, 339 Thermal View Dr. Tryon, NC 28782.
