TRYON, NC - Harold Alfred Hill of Tryon, NC died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at his home.Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Edwin and Mate Colbath Hill and husband of the late Charlotte Ault Hill who died in 1998. Mr. Hill was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, Scottish Rite and Shriner in Fairfax, VA.Surviving are two sons, James A. Hill of Danville, CA and Thomas E. Hill of Glen Allen, VA. Also surviving are two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.A private memorial service will be held.Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC 28722.
